In order to enrich the child’s acquisition of verbs introduced in My First 1000 Action Words, a well-developed workbook has been provided to give the child the opportunity to have a solid foundation of verbs in English language. It includes a variety of matching and sorting questions which make it quite inviting for the child to attempt them. The workbook provides questions that help the child match and differentiate between verbs, enabling him to memorize and identify the correct use of verbs. In the workbook, questions vary from simple ones to other questions that pose challenges the child has to tackle. Answer sheet is provided as a guide the child can resort to in order to know whether he has provided correct answers or not. Moreover, a list of verb conjugations is provided to intensify the child’s knowledge of verbs. Once the child completes the workbook, he is prepared to deal with this aspect of English language on a larger platform.
